Professor Zuduo Zheng is a Full Professor and Co-Chair of the Transport Academic Partnership sponsored by Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads, in the School of Civil Engineering at the University of Queensland. He is also a former DECRA Research Fellow supported by the Australian Research Council, and has led/co-led several highly-competitive research grants funded by the Australian Research Council. His research focuses on understanding emerging, disruptive, and intelligent mobility technologies� impact on traffic efficiency, traffic safety, energy consumption, and vehicle emissions; developing essential theories, the foundational algorithms and analytics that can seamlessly integrate future mobilities into the existing transportation systems; and designing adaptable, controllable, resilient, and sustainable infrastructure systems (intelligent transportation systems and smart city in particular).
Professor Zheng has consistently been listed as the top 2% of Scientists in Logistics and Transportation by Scopus & Stanford University, receiving numerous prestigious prizes and best paper awards. He serves or has served as an editor, guest editor or editorial board member for several prestigious journals. He is passionate about reproducible research and open science, and currently is the inaugural Open Research Fellow at the University of Queensland.�
