Yohan Mauricio Ariza Aguilar is a biologist specializing in HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) and risk management, with a strong focus on climate change. He has extensive experience in promoting environmental conservation, disaster risk management, and community education. His career has involved working with indigenous communities in Ecuador and Colombia, where he learned reforestation techniques and habitat restoration. Yohan has also volunteered with the Colombian Red Cross, leading various projects related to disaster preparedness and climate change education.

In 2016, Yohan moved to the United States to continue his professional development and volunteered with the American Red Cross, gaining experience in emergency management and community support. Recognizing the need for comprehensive education on climate change and risk management in the U.S., he proposed the creation of the "Institute for Risk Management and Climate Change." This institute aims to coordinate efforts to combat climate change through education, community engagement, and strategic partnerships.

The U.S. government has recognized Yohan as a professional of national interest, allowing him to migrate as a key contributor to these efforts. Currently, Yohan leads the BERS Institute in Florida, focusing on sustainable practices, environmental education, and community resilience in the face of climate change. His work continues to impact both local and international communities, emphasizing the importance of environmental stewardship and disaster preparedness.
