Abdullah Abbas Kendoush has completed his PhD at the age of 30 years from Strathclyde
University (UK) in 1976 and was a Chief Scientist at the Iraqi Atomic Energy Commission and
the Ministry of Sciences and Technology in Baghdad. He taught at the Universities of Baghdad,
Al-Mustansiryah, Al-Nahrain, and the University of Technology. He was a visiting professor at
the University of Florida in 2006 and then a post doctoral fellow at Georgia Institute of
Technology. Currently, he teaches nuclear engineering technology at Augusta Technical College,
Augusta, Georgia, USA. He has published more than 70 papers in reputed journals and
conferences and has been serving as an editorial board member of some journals. He is a
member of ASME.
