Dr. Othmane MERAH is an Associate Professor at the University Paul Sabatier, Toulouseas Teacher and as Researcher in the Laboratory of Agroindustrial Chemistry (Institut National Polytechnique, Toulouse, France). He is an Engineer and Doctor in agronomic sciences (National Agronomic School of Rennes, France).He investigates the genetic, morpho-physiological diversity in cereals, oilseed and aromatic plants. His research program is focused on studying physiology and genetics of drought tolerance in cereals and oilseed crops under conventional and organic conditions. He works on the bioactives from plants for foods, plants and cosmetics.He is a crop scientist and agronomist with wide experience in large-scale research programmes and in leading multidisciplinary and international collaboration projects. He is author of over 160 publications. He is Editorial and/or Advisory Board member of several international journals.
