Dr. Udi Sarig, a Senior Lecturer and Deputy Chair of the Department of Medical Studies at the Dr. Miriam and Sheldon Adelson School of Medicine at Ariel University, received his Ph.D. in Biotechnology and Food Engineering from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology and completed his postdoctoral training at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU, Singapore) in the School of Materials Science and Engineering. Dr. Sarig currently heads the Laboratory for Advanced Tissue Technologies (LATi-Tech) at Ariel University. Dr. Sarig studies the fundamental principles of tissue and organ development combining developmental biology, synthetic biology, and tissue engineering. He is particularly interested in applying these principles to developing biomimetic platforms that mimic 3D neo-tissue development.”
