Rengmao Wu is a professor of optical engineering at Zhejiang University, China. Prior to joining Zhejiang University, he performed postdoctoral research at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain, through the European Research Consortium for Informatics and Mathematics (ERCIM) Fellowship and at the College of Optical Science, University of Arizona, USA. His research interests include freeform optics, optical system design, display, and computational imaging. He is the recipient of 2021 Optica Kevin P. Thompson Optical Design Innovator Award, and currently he is an associated editor of Optics Express.
