Salvador Mengual Sendra is a Ph. D student at the Departamentd�AstronomiaiAstrof�sica of the Universitat de Val�ncia, supervised by Prof. J. J. Ferrando. His work focuses on the physical interpretation of spherically symmetric perfect fluid solutions of the Einstein equations, but he has also worked on the obtention of IDEAL (Intrinsic, Deductive, Explicit and ALgorithmic) characterizations of some solutions and their properties. After a stay at Universidad de C�rdoba, he is currently working, in collaboration with Prof. A. Garc�a-Parrado, on the implementation of such characterizations in xAct, a suite of Mathematica packages for tensor computer algebra.
